Leslie Nelson, lead singer for the band NOTORIOUS, is
a native Detroiter with over 20 years of studio and stage experience.
Throughout the years, Leslie has had numerous entertainers request her
musical involvement. The music including, but not limited too, R&B, Pop,
Jazz, Gospel, Country and Western has established Leslie as one of the most
sought after personalities and performing artist. She has combined her

Performing weekly around the Metro Detroit area at local renowned nightclubs
and supper clubs like "Floods Bar and Grill", Andiamo’s, Bert’s Motown Room
and many corporate and private functions has provided an array of listening
audiences. The list of top-notch entertainers and business professionals
demand her musical performances for special occasions and special events.
Leslie's musical history includes, appearing on the "Oprah Talk Show"
singing background for Aretha Franklin ("The Queen of Soul"), to performing
with or as the opening act for major musical artists ranging from Stevie
Wonder, The O‘Jays, The Time, Craig T. Cooper and The Spinners. Recording
with the likes of Oleta Adams, Jerald Daemyon, Aretha Franklin, The Modern
Tribe, Lynn Roundtree and most recently with Notorious. These few facts are
merely a small portion of her successful achievements.
